What this policy covers
We, Environment Agency, take our privacy obligations seriously and we’ve created this privacy policy to explain how we treat your personal information collected on this website. Personal information is information we hold which is identifiable as being about you.

Privacy notice: how we use your personal data
We are the Environment Agency and we design and build flood improvement schemes. We are the data controller for this service. A data controller determines how and why personal data (personal information) is processed. Our personal information charter explains how we deal with your personal information.
The personal data we need
The personal data we collect about you includes:
- full name
- contact details including address, email and phone number
- questions, queries, opinions or feedback you leave
- your Internet Protocol (IP) address and details of which version of web browser you used
- information on how you use the site, including cookies [https://salisburyriverparkphase1.uk.engagementhq.com/#cookie_] and analytics
We are allowed to process your personal data because we have official authority as the environmental regulator. The lawful basis for processing your personal data is to perform a task in the public interest that is set out in law.
What we do with your personal data
We will use your personal data to keep you informed during different stages, to ask for your opinion and invite you to events related to the River Park scheme.
We do not use your data for automated profiling.
We will only share your personal data with Wiltshire Council for the purpose of communicating with you about the River Park and all its phases, unless we are required to do so by law.
How long we keep your personal data
We will keep your personal data for the duration of the River Park construction and six months after completion.
Where your personal data is processed and stored
We transfer your data through Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers in Ireland. We store the
data on Microsoft Azure servers in Ireland. The data will not be transferred outside the
European Economic Area.
